Paul Morris Motorsport has unveiled the look of Russell Ingall’s #39 Supercheap Auto Racing Commodore VE today.
Ingall, entering his 16th consecutive full-time V8 Supercars season, hopes that this car can recapture the form that took him to his 2005 success with Stone Brothers Racing.
The new livery sees a return to the traditional Supercheap Auto colours of red and yellow, after an increased use of white in recent years.
With Castrol EDGE withdrawing its support at the end of 2010, the PMM team has been collecting an impressive new collection of backers, including household names Berocca and Hungry Jacks,
The team is also close to finishing the build of its third Triple Eight-designed Commodore VE. The car has been in construction since March and the team is hopeful of having it ready for Clispal – even though it will remain a spare and only used if needed.
Ingall’s car will be on track for the first time at Eastern Creek next Saturday in V8’s official test before the opening round of the V8 Supercars Championship at the Yas Marina Circuit in Abu Dhabi.
